Feast Your Eyes On The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 -The World’s First Sneaker To Tie Its Own Laces
Nike News – Welcome the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0, the first performance vehicle for Nike’s latest platform breakthrough, adaptive lacing. The shoe translates deep research in digital, electrical and mechanical engineering into a product designed for movement. It challenges traditional understanding of fit, proposing an ultimate solution to individual idiosyncrasies in lacing and tension preference.
Functional simplicity reduces a typical athlete concern, distraction. “When you step in, your heel will hit a sensor and the system will automatically tighten,” explains Tiffany Beers, Senior Innovator, NIKE, Inc., and the project’s technical lead. “Then there are two buttons on the side to tighten and loosen. You can adjust it until it’s perfect.”
Lets face it, these shoes are bananas. The feeling you must get when you step into those jawns must be incredible, almost orgasmic, when they start to mold to your feet. That’s some future alien shit right there. Even though they are probably gonna cost $1000 for single pair, I’ll HAVE to cop them. Don’t care if I have to dump my entire life savings on them.
One thing’s for sure, I hate tying my shoes. YOU hate tying your shoes, we ALL hate tying our shoes. So it’s only right that in 2016 that we finally get a pair of shoes that do the work for us. Talk about being lazy as fuck though, right? Don’t care. NEED them.
