Good News: Bloomsburg Skatepark Re-Opens For First Time Since Flood Of 2001
PAHomepage – A popular skate park in Bloomsburg is back open again for the first time since the 2011 flood. Many came to try out their new concrete playground first thing Monday morning. “Rebuild the Bloom Skate Park” organizers have trying to bring back the park for the last four years. Rebuilding the skate park will come in three phases. Each costing about $30,000 dollars. But with the reopening– skate park officials are already looking to the future and working on fundraising to rebuild the rest of the park. Organizers say they hope to finish the second phase of the skate park by Spring and the thirdphase — as soon as they have funding
Finally some good news out of NEPA. The Bloom Skatepark just had it’s Grand Re-Opening this past Sunday after getting wiped out during the flood of 2011. Looked like the reopening was pretty lit to say the least…Here’s a recap:
